Amar Shah, our new Head of Business Purpose Lending at Roc360, had the opportunity to visit several borrower projects and showcase firsthand how we approach business purpose lending – from the relationships we have built to the properties and communities our financing helps support. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with partners, highlight the strength of our borrowers, and share the vision behind what we’re building. We are proud of how far we have come and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Hey, my name’s Amar, and today we’re taking current and potential LPs, a number of borrowers and loans, really in our backyard on Long Island, New York. And there’s only so much you can explain to investors over a Zoom meeting, over a phone call about what we do, our underwriting philosophy. Explain to them who our borrowers are, the profile of these borrowers, the profile of these collateral.

Really show them. It’s limited what you can explain through a computer. So, we rented a big party bus.

We’re taking these LPs, and we want to physically show them how we are bringing capital to who are taking this money, and then they’re taking old, distressed, dilapidated housing stock, and they’re renovating it and bringing it back online. They’re trying to solve the housing shortage. We have credit team members.

We have the co-founders of the company. We have a marketing department here. We have our construction management team here.

We really brought out core components of the ROC brand and the ROC company here, and we want to give these LPs full access to the team members that make this happen on a daily basis.
