Job Summary
CIVIC Financial Services is seeking a Director of Analytics to lead a dynamic data team responsible for data management, warehousing, and analytical modeling. In addition, this role will drive reporting and analytics capabilities across the organization. We are looking for an individual to oversee our existing data governance function and focus on high-impact data analysis initiatives related to credit attributes, quality, and sales/marketing business drivers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead teams of engineers, data scientists, and reporting analysts in the construction and management of all company data assets, while also supervising the portfolio of data analytics projects.
- Develop mechanisms for data delivery through services and cloud solutions.
- Establish and oversee a data governance function, encompassing operational and technology management of the program.
- Define long-term strategic goals for all data and intelligence solutions, creating plans and roadmaps to achieve objectives.
- Design solutions in Azure or AWS, addressing relevant governance and data security concerns.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment, providing analytics support to loan servicing, marketing, sales, and FP&A efforts.
- Communicate findings to senior management and executive leadership.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in leading teams of data engineers, developers, and architects supporting enterprise, marketing, or credit analysis efforts.
- Proficiency in master data management practices and data management and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of ETL methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data warehouse architecture and modeling principles.
- Experience in developing and supporting analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Sigma, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, or similar.
- Preferred experience in financial services, real estate, finance, or construction.
- Understanding of and experience in using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

- Source and submit $4+ million, funding $3+ million in closed loans per month
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism in the industry
