The firm connects fragmented loan markets with institutional capital through a branchless network of third-party originators, brokers, and in-house sales teams to originate loans to property investors who buy, rehab, resell, and/or rent properties. POSITION
Roc360 is looking for a seasoned real estate professional with a proven track record of leading a team of valuation professionals in the real estate lending industry.
As a leader within the Credit Underwriting group at Roc360, you will work with team leaders across the organization to help set up and manage the valuations team. This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior executives in a key leadership position at Roc360.
Responsibilities will include:
- Work with senior members in Credit, Risk and Data Science to develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures for the valuation review team
- Help hire, train and manage a team of appraisers and valuation specialists in different locations
- Partner with Credit, Product, Operations and Technology teams to manage and improve operations of the valuation review team
- Develop and manage appropriate KPIs in the areas of quality control, customer service, production and performance metrics
- Lead research and development of analytical tools and reports and provide strategic insight on real estate valuations and macroeconomic trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA degree or higher, preferably in a related field such as Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline
- Active certified residential real estate appraiser
- 5+ years of experience in valuation reviews in the real estate lending industry, preferably including some experience in leading a team of appraisers or valuation professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Team-oriented and highly collaborative personality
